DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Customs Clearance Admin in Morocco. In this role, you will, support administration of customs and trade compliance activities to provide clearance of freight documentation through the relevant customs authorities in line with business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.

In this Customs Clearance Admin position
- You will, under supervision, support the delivery of customs and trade compliance processes and activities to optimize service and cost performance for customs clearance.
- You will provide administrative support for import/export documentation, including receiving, reconciling, consolidating, and summarizing documents and information.
- You will perform data-capturing activities, enter data into customs operating systems, and set up master data for transactions.
- You will conduct pre-alert screenings of paperwork, update documentation and standard operating procedures, and support documentation archiving processes.
- You will execute the filing of customs entries and perform post-entry activities and transactions.
- You will update and maintain customer part lists.
- You will track performance targets and update shipment information and physical status records.
- You will research duty, tax, and billing issues or discrepancies raised by internal and external customers.
- You will undertake best-practice reviews and quality audits to ensure adherence to established quality, accuracy, and timeliness standards.
- You will gather and collate data to prepare reports and performance updates to support performance monitoring and assist other team members.
- You will ensure compliance with established regulations and support the proper application of customs processes and policies.
- You will resolve recurring issues encountered during service delivery in accordance with defined processes, systems, and methodologies.
- You will research, identify, and obtain the permits, licenses, and certificates required for customs clearance and other customs formalities.
- You will advise customers on legal and customs-related matters, including trade compliance requirements and shipments to sanctioned countries.
- You will liaise with and contact customs authorities to facilitate customs clearance and resolve customs-related issues
