YOUR TASKS

  • Oversee day-to-day Customs clearance operations to ensure all activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

  • Review and analyze operational data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities in performance excellence as required.

  • Proactively identify potential operational failures and process gaps, ensuring action plans and preventive measures are developed and implemented to mitigate risks and maintain seamless operations.

  • Monitor and enforce customs, regulatory, and internal compliance standards, ensuring all documentation, declarations, and processes adhere to government guidelines and company policies.

  • Supervise regulatory engagement in compliance with Customs & Trade regulations that align with DHL operational requirements and business objectives.

  • Engage proactively with DHL customers, focusing on effective problem-solving and delivering tailored operational and compliance-aligned solutions.

  • Allocate resources effectively across shifts and tasks to improve operational productivity, resource optimization, and performance improvement.

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes in meeting company objectives.

  • Oversee timely and accurate payment of customer duties and taxes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Manage team performance and operational KPIs, providing guidance and corrective actions where necessary to maintain service quality and accuracy in declarations.

  • Conduct monthly performance reviews to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure training requirements are fulfilled in alignment with company direction and guidelines.

  • Ensure the team possesses the required competencies and knowledge to fully meet audit expectations under both internal Global SOP standards and external customs regulatory requirements.


YOUR PROFILE

  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
  • Well- developed relationship skill and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
  • Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Line Trainer certified.
  • 2-3 years operations experience, preferably within transportation or logistics industry.
  • IATA Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification.
