- You are responsible for overseeing daily activities of our team of Entry Writers including document review, classification and entry filing.
- You assist the team with any customs issues, resolve customs holds or delays and interface with customs officials.
- You have deep knowledge of all regulation and procedures of U.S. Customs, FDA, USDA and other Government Agencies (PGA) and you will keep it up to date.
- You are responsible to ensure entries are submitted correctly and paid on time.
- You are confident in handling Post Summary Corrections, Protests and other post release issues.
- You train and coach staff, set performance targets and manage the workflow within the department.
- You are enthusiastic about customs regulations and enjoy working in a dynamic, global trade environment.
- Quality service and satisfied customers, whether internal or external, are important to you.
- Attention to detail, strategic time management and organizational efficiency are your strengths.
- You have at least three years of experience as an Customs Entry Writer and two years of experience supervising a team.
- Additional Customs certifications like CCS required.
- Customs Broker License is welcome but not required.
- Expericence in using netCHB is a plus.
- Knowledge of German or Spanish is helpful, but not a must.
