Job Description
- Establish and manage the deployment wave framework, including scope definition, sequencing, governance, and stage-gate criteria.
- Develop and maintain integrated cutover plans and deployment runbooks, incorporating inputs from multiple technology and business workstreams.
- Coordinate and facilitate cutover rehearsals, validation exercises, and execution planning activities.
- Lead command centre operations during deployment windows, ensuring effective issue management and stakeholder communication.
- Drive operational readiness activities, including support model alignment, monitoring, access management, communications, incident management processes, and hypercare preparation.
- Prepare readiness assessments and decision-making materials that support deployment approvals and go/no-go reviews.
- Ensure successful transition into operational support teams through robust documentation, knowledge transfer, and acceptance processes.
- Track and manage deployment risks, dependencies, and remediation plans throughout the programme.

- Rehearsal schedules, outcomes, and action tracking.
- Operational readiness assessments and deployment approval packs.
- Hypercare planning and command centre operating model.

The Successful Applicant
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience leading cutover, release, deployment, or transition management activities within large and complex technology programmes.
- Strong programme coordination and stakeholder management capabilities across multiple teams and vendors.
- Experience managing critical production deployment events and high-pressure execution windows.
- Solid understanding of IT operations, service management, and production support models.
- Ability to identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive issue resolution in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile, hybrid delivery methodologies, and enterprise-scale transformation programmes is advantageous.
