CWIPS Intelligence Subject Matter Expert
Position Summary
The Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides expert-level intelligence analysis, advisory support, and instruction in support of operational planning, training, and capability development. The Intel SME enables organizations to effectively apply intelligence processes and multi-discipline analysis in complex, irregular, and competition-based environments, with a focus on multi-discipline and multi-domain analysis and exploitation during strategic competition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Advise and mentor intelligence personnel on intelligence support to operations, including targeting, target development, and target system analysis.
- Conduct and support Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE/JIPOE).
- Integrate GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and all-source intelligence into analytic workflows and decision-making.
- Support processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED) processes and analytic best practices.
- Develop, review, and refine intelligence products, briefings, and assessments.
- Support intelligence collection management concepts and synchronization.
- Provide instruction and guidance during training events, exercises, and planning efforts.
- Capture lessons learned and provide recommendations to improve intelligence performance and integration.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- Minimum of 12 years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or military intelligence operations.
- Minimum of 8 years supporting U.S. Army Special Operations Forces (USASOF), U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC), Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), or other Special Operations organizations.
- Minimum of 5 years conducting all-source intelligence analysis in support of operational planning, targeting, or irregular warfare operations.
- Strong understanding of the intelligence cycle and multi-discipline integration.
- Experience supporting targeting and operational planning.
- Ability to clearly communicate and instruct intelligence concepts to diverse audiences.
Clearance:
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI DoD Clearance
