About the Role
Reporting to the CIO, you'll lead the development and execution of Endeavour Foundation's cyber and information security strategy, ensuring our security posture evolves with organisational priorities, emerging threats and regulatory requirements.
You'll oversee security governance, risk management, incident response, resilience planning and security operations, while providing trusted advice to executives and driving a strong security culture across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the cyber and information security strategy and roadmap.
- Strengthen security governance, threat assessment, and risk management.
- Oversee cyber security operations, including continuous monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response and recovery activities
- Partner with business and technology leaders to promote Security by Design, strengthen cyber resilience, and ensure cyber security is considered in decision-making.
- Lead cyber awareness and behavioural change initiatives across the workforce.
- Provide strategic advice and reporting to executive leaders and governance committees.
- Manage security vendors, partners and service providers to achieve security outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in security maturity, controls and organisational preparedness.
About You
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading cyber security functions within a complex or regulated environment.
- Proven success developing and implementing cyber security strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong expertise in cyber risk, governance, security operations and resilience.
- Experience advising senior executives and governance forums on cyber risk and investment priorities.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Leadership experience building high-performing teams and managing external partners.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related discipline.
- CISSP, CEH or similar security certifications highly regarded.
