Cyber Azure Cloud Architect (m/f/n)

Summary

Design and secure Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructures for a public-sector client, implementing cybersecurity controls, IAM, and DevSecOps practices.

Currently, for one of our international Partners within the public sector, we are looking for a Senior Cyber Azure Cloud Architect (m/f/n) to design, secure, and support Microsoft Azure cloud-based infrastructures and services in a complex, large-scale environment.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect or in a similar role.

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud security.

  • European Union citizenship (EU-27) and eligibility for EU security clearance.

  • At least one recognized cybersecurity or cloud security certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate / Cybersecurity Architect Expert).

  • Solid understanding of network security, identity management (IAM/RBAC), encryption, logging, and monitoring.

  • Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps practices and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.

  • Fluent English (working language).

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in regulated, high-security, or public sector environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain secure cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.

  • Define and implement cloud security controls aligned with best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Translate business, security, and compliance requirements into secure technical architectures.

  • Support DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD security controls and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

  • Contribute to Identity and Access Management designs (IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust).

  • Perform security architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling.

  • Support incident analysis, remediation strategies, and continuous security improvement.

  • Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams in an international environment.

  • Produce clear architectural documentation, security designs, and guidelines.
