Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Cyber Security Analyst to join our IT Security team. The candidate will assist in monitoring security systems, identifying potential threats, analyzing vulnerabilities, and supporting the implementation of security measures to protect organizational networks, systems, and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, security alerts, and system activities to identify potential security threats.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Support incident detection, investigation, and documentation.
• Perform basic security assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Assist in implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor antivirus, firewalls, and other security tools.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Cyber Security principles and information security.
• Knowledge of Networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
• Understanding of Operating Systems, particularly Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security.
• Basic knowledge of vulnerability assessment and risk management.
• Understanding of security threats, malware, and phishing attacks.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security.
• BCA / MCA or equivalent qualifications are also eligible.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Splunk or IBM QRadar.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Wireshark and Nmap.
• Understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH (optional).
