Cyber Security Analyst

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our IT team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding our infrastructure, networks, and data from internal and external threats.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and administer cybersecurity platforms, including network, infrastructure, endpoint, and email security solutions
Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats and security events across the organization's IT environment
Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential security exposures
Implement, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, standards, and best practices
Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to strengthen and continuously improve the organization's security posture
Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analyses, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations
Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats, industry trends, and evolving security technologies to ensure proactive risk management

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in a cybersecurity, information security, or related role
Relevant professional certifications such as Certified IS Professional, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CCNA Security, or equivalent certifications will be an advantage

Excellent communication and reporting abilities
Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
