Cyber Security Analyst

Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,500 per month

Join KUKA's Global Cyber Security team and help protect a world-leading robotics and automation organization.

As a Cyber Security Analyst (SOC), you will monitor security alerts, investigate threats, respond to incidents, and support security operations using industry-leading tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender XDR.

Make an Impact

• Monitor and investigate security alerts, incidents, and suspicious activities.

• Perform incident triage, analysis, escalation, and response activities.

• Support threat detection using Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and other security tools.

• Identify malicious activity through log analysis and security investigations.

• Document incidents, findings, and remediation actions accurately.

• Support security automation, use-case tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate with global IT and security teams to strengthen cyber defenses.

• Contribute to maintaining a secure and resilient IT environment.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in SOC, Cyber Security, IT Support, Service Desk, Infrastructure, or Networking is preferred.

• Knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and IT troubleshooting.

• Understanding of phishing, malware, ransomware, SIEM, EDR, and incident response concepts.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, SOAR, or similar security platforms is an advantage.

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or automation tools is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Willing to work in a shift-based environment supporting global operations.

• Relevant certifications such as Security+, SC-200, CEH, CISSP, or CISM are advantageous.
