Cyber Security Analyst

• Assist in performing Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for web applications, APIs, and network infrastructure.
• Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Perform basic security testing using tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, and Metasploit.
• Understand and test common vulnerabilities based on the OWASP Top 10.
• Conduct basic network and web application security assessments.
• Document identified vulnerabilities with proper evidence, risk ratings, and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing VAPT and security assessment reports.
• Support senior security team members during penetration testing and security assessments.
• Perform vulnerability validation and re-testing after remediation.
• Maintain proper documentation of security findings and testing activities.
• Stay updated with basic cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices.
• Follow organizational security policies, testing procedures, and client requirements.Role & responsibilities
