Summary

Salary: £48,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Minimum two years experience working within an Information Security role
  • Understanding of information security principles, frameworks and regulatory requirements including ISO27001 and data protection standards
  • Experience monitoring security tools and supporting cyber security incident management activities
  • Knowledge of technical security controls such as vulnerability management, RBAC, PAM, patch management, DLP or anti-virus technologies
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk and identify practical solutions
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
  • Proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Responsibilities:
  • Provide security guidance and best practice advice to business areas and technology teams across the organisation
  • Support the ongoing development, maintenance and improvement of the Information Security Management System to ensure continued ISO27001 compliance
  • Monitor security systems, tools and alerts, investigating issues and escalating incidents where required
  • Participate in the detection, management and response to cyber security incidents, including on-call duties
  • Contribute to the implementation, management and enhancement of technical security controls across the business
  • Support penetration testing activities and coordinate remediation of identified vulnerabilities and findings
  • Engage with project teams to ensure security risks are identified and addressed throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Undertake security due diligence assessments of third-party suppliers and technology partners
  • Contribute to security awareness, training activities and the development of cyber response playbooks and exercises
  • Produce reporting, metrics and insights that support cyber security operations and continuous improvement initiatives
