Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II

As a Product Security Software Engineer II at Honeywell, you will design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions that protect our products, critical assets, and customer data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and integrate security practices into software development and product security processes.

You will report directly to our Cyber Security Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule.

  • Design, develop, and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect products and customer data.
  • Develop and integrate AI workflows into Product Cyber services and software development practices.
  • Enable efficient Product Cyber processes through automation and system integration.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate product security services into the software development lifecycle and products.
  • Support product security services that issue millions of product certificates and sign tens of millions of product elements annually.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of Software Engineering experience in Java, Groovy, and/or Python.
  • 1+ year of experience working with AI technologies or workflows, including through professional, academic, or personal projects.
  • 1+ year of experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) or DevSecOps practices, including professional, academic, or personal projects.
  • 1+ year of experience with system integration, automation, or related software development practices.
  • Interest in cybersecurity and willingness to develop expertise in product security, public key infrastructure, and related cybersecurity concepts.

WE VALUE

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and their security models.
  • Hands-on experience with several of the following: JIRA, ServiceNow, Ubiquity, Jenkins, Claude, GitHub, Software Composition Analysis Tools, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

The annual base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $144,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
