Cyber Security Consultant
Summary
Supports financial clients’ security operations, advising teams on security reviews, risk assessments, and control implementation while collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams to maintain secure environments.
For one of our financial clients, we are looking for a Cyber Security Consultant to support day-to-day security operations and act as a security advisor for operational teams and projects. Assist with security reviews, awareness, exception handling, vulnerability management, security improvements, and the implementation of security controls. Work closely with infrastructure, platform, and engineering teams to maintain a secure and resilient environment.
Competences Required
Strong technical security background with practical experience across enterprise environments.
Experience with infrastructure security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, identity and access management, network security, cloud security, and security operations.
Able to analyze security issues, assess risk, recommend mitigations, and work effectively with technical teams.
A profile comparable to OSCP is highly desirable, with broader security knowledge at CISSP level or equivalent being an advantage.
System Knowledge
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, IAM/SSO solutions, endpoint protection platforms, vulnerability management tools, security monitoring solutions, network security technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and operational security processes.
Business Knowledge
Good understanding of operational information security within a regulated enterprise environment, including incident management, vulnerability management, security controls, and compliance requirements.
Able to balance security, operational, and business needs while supporting the reliable operation of critical services.
