Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year
About the role
As a GRC & Cyber Security Consultant, you will partner with clients to develop, implement and improve management systems, governance frameworks, cyber security controls and compliance programs. You will lead consulting engagements, facilitate workshops, conduct audits and provide strategic advice to organisations seeking certification and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Deliver Information Security Management System (ISMS) consulting engagements
Conduct gap assessments against ISO 27001 and other recognised frameworks
Develop cyber security strategies, governance frameworks, policies and procedures
Assist clients in achieving and maintaining ISO 27001 certification
Conduct internal audits and independent compliance reviews
Facilitate risk assessments and implement risk-based security controls
Develop documentation including policies, procedures, process maps and management plans
Provide governance, risk and compliance (GRC) advisory services
Conduct management reviews and present findings to executive teams
Deliver client workshops and training programs
About you
Experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Risk Management or GRC consulting
Strong understanding of ISO 27001 and Information Security Management Systems
Experience conducting audits, compliance assessments or assurance reviews
Knowledge of risk management methodologies and governance frameworks
Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills
Strong report writing, presentation and communication skills
Ability to engage effectively with executives, technical teams and operational staff
Experience developing policies, procedures and management system documentation
Strong Microsoft 365 and business systems capability
Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Engineering, Information Technology, Science or a related discipline
