Summary
Cyber Security Consultant strengthening a data centre's security posture through security assurance, governance, incident response leadership, and operational security support, leveraging frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and SOC2.
Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong experience within recognised frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST 800-61, GDPR, NIS2, and Cyber Essentials
- Minimum five years experience in Cyber Security
- Knowledge of EDR, SIEM, NDR, applications, security architecture, IAM, PAM encryption technologies, network security, Zero Trust, secure interconnection patterns, and cyber security principles
- Experience within Security Operations, Incident Response, Security Assurance, or GRC functions
- Experience managing or overseeing MSSP, SOC activities, and third party management
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Incident Response methodologies, Cyber Security Governance, GDPR, and regulatory compliance
- One or more certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
- Strengthen and maintain our cyber security posture through effective security assurance, incident response coordination, vulnerability management, security governance, and operational security support
- Lead security assurance, governance, and incident response activities
- Support investigations, security monitoring activities, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and major cyber incidents when required
