Cyber Security Consultant

Salary: £80,000 - 90,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience within recognised frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST 800-61, GDPR, NIS2, and Cyber Essentials
• Minimum five years experience in Cyber Security
• Knowledge of EDR, SIEM, NDR, applications, security architecture, IAM, PAM encryption technologies, network security, Zero Trust, secure interconnection patterns, and cyber security principles
• Experience within Security Operations, Incident Response, Security Assurance, or GRC functions
• Experience managing or overseeing MSSP, SOC activities, and third party management
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST Cyber Security Framework, Incident Response methodologies, Cyber Security Governance, GDPR, and regulatory compliance
• One or more certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CRISC

Responsibilities:

• Strengthen and maintain our cyber security posture through effective security assurance, incident response coordination, vulnerability management, security governance, and operational security support
• Lead security assurance, governance, and incident response activities
• Support investigations, security monitoring activities, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and major cyber incidents when required
