Cyber Security Engineer
Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year
Requirements:- Strong hands-on experience with Azure security
- Practical knowledge of PIM and PAM
- Understanding of cloud security principles including least privilege, defence in depth, and secure-by-design
- Comfortable troubleshooting complex access, policy, and configuration issues
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance
- Consultancy experience is a strong advantage
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers
- Willingness to work across varied projects and step outside your comfort zone when required
- Experience with Microsoft Purview is highly desirable
- Experience with Sentinel, Defender XDR, Azure DevOps/GitHub, CNI, or other regulated environments is beneficial
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-500, AZ-104, SC-300, SC-400, or SC-100 are welcomed but not essential
- Secure Azure environments across identity, governance, networking, workload protection, and monitoring
- Work with technologies including Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics
- Take high-level designs from security architects and turn them into detailed technical solutions
- Produce build documentation, test plans, and operational runbooks
- Own pieces of technical delivery on customer-facing projects
- Solve complex security problems directly with clients
- Collaborate closely with experienced security architects within our Architecture team
