Cyber Security Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Key Requirements & Experience:

1. Banking IT Experience

810 years of relevant experience in Banking IT, Information Security, or IT Audit.

2. RBI Audit Experience

Hands-on experience in handling multiple RBI IT and cybersecurity audits, including remediation and closure of audit findings.

3. Cybersecurity Knowledge

Strong understanding of security controls, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and incident response.

4. IT Systems Knowledge

Good understanding of Core Banking Systems (CBS), digital banking platforms, payment systems, and IT infrastructure.

5. IT Compliance & Coordination

Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable tasks and audit evidence.

Experience supporting the CISO in coordinating with Head Office and local teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

6. Individual Contributor (IC) Role

This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities.

The candidate should be flexible and willing to take ownership of additional IT projects and related responsibilities as required.
