Permanent full-time Cyber Security Officer at a Queensland local council in Warwick, assisting the ICT Manager with cyber security objectives such as incident response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence and cyber defence, while supporting enterprise networks and core infrastructure. Offers a 9-day fortnight at Level 6 pay plus superannuation.
Salary: $3968.41 - $4212.28 per fortnight (level 6)
Your Opportunity
In this role as the Cyber Security Officer, you will assist the Manager ICT in the delivery of timely, efficient, customer focussed Cyber Security strategic objectives. You will also support the efficient operation of Council’s enterprise networks, hardware platforms, core network infrastructure, communication platforms, applications and access control systems while maintaining a high-level of system accuracy.

HOURS of WORK:
72.5 hours per fortnight | 9-day fortnight
PAY LEVEL:
$3,968.41 – $4,212.28 per fortnight (Level 6)
Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Annual Leave Loading in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award.
Pay rate dependant on relevant skills and experience.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
Legal right to live and work in Australia
Proven experience in delivering high-quality ICT support to clients supporting at least one of the following Cyber Security activities, such as Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence, or Cyber Defence Tools; with emphasis on self-managing workloads, prioritising tasks and working unsupervised.
MANDATORY LICENCES & QUALIFICATIONS
A Class C (car) licence or greater is required.
A person in this position will need to hold a tertiary qualification(s) in ICT-related disciplines; OR related ICT industry certifications and demonstrate sufficient subject matter experience and knowledge within the ICT industry.
