Summary

Designs and implements large-scale cyber security solutions using M365 Security Stack, AWS/Azure cloud security, and SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel.

Salary: £38,000 - 68,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Proven track record as a Solution Architect on large-scale Cyber Security programmes.
  • Deep hands-on experience with the M365 Security Stack, including Defender, DLP, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Experience with Cloud Security in AWS and Azure environments.
  • Solid knowledge of Tenable, Claroty, and SIEM upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks including NIST, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and UK DPA/GDPR.
  • Experience deploying Sentinel One on legacy operating systems is desirable.
  • Direct experience implementing Tenable agents or MDR services is desirable.
  • TOGAF, CISSP, or Azure Solutions Architect certifications are desirable.
Responsibilities:
  • Design high-level security, infrastructure, and application architecture aligned with Enterprise Architecture and governance frameworks.
  • Support the development of Target Operating Models for Vulnerability Management.
  • Optimise SOC monitoring and response capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product delivery teams.
  • Review low-level design patterns.
  • Assure implementation through service transition.
  • Lead the security architecture for key projects.
  • Work alongside Enterprise Architecture and vendor teams to protect critical operational systems.

We are hiring a Cyber Security Solution Architect for a major UK infrastructure transformation programme. This is a Reading-based role with hybrid or remote working available for UK-based candidates, offered as an initial 6-month contract with an immediate start and an inside IR35 rate of £680.00 per day. We are looking for someone to drive critical security initiatives across incident and vulnerability management, M365 security, and OT/IoT environments, working closely with our SOC, Enterprise Architecture, and vendor teams to protect critical operational systems.
