Summary
The Cyber Security Consultant will play a pivotal role in the investigation and remediation of significant security deficiencies identified during Offensive Security Tests and through Operational Security initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring that the security vulnerabilities are assessed and mitigated in a timely manner, aligning with the organization’s risk appetite.
Main Responsibilities
The Cyber Security Consultant will be responsible for leading security investigations and coordinating remediation efforts.
Lead and coordinate investigations into security deficiencies.
Ensure proper assessment and treatment of security risks.
Align remediation efforts with the organization’s risk appetite.
Manage multiple cases with support from a co-pilot.
Key Requirements
3 - 5 years of professional experience.
Practical experience with IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security.
Experience in IT Risk Management.
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and ISO/IEC 27001.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Advanced communication skills for engaging with varied stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills to influence stakeholders.
A learning mindset and positive attitude towards new learning.
Ownership skills to drive responsibilities effectively.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Nice to Have
Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, OSCP, CEH, or CREST.
