Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and securing IT environments, particularly with the Microsoft Security stack, including M365 Advanced Security and Microsoft Purview. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and security of our systems against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and manage security measures to protect sensitive data and IT infrastructure. - Utilize Microsoft Defender XDR to monitor and respond to security incidents effectively. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts to mitigate risks. - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. - Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends and technologies to enhance our security posture. - Provide training and support to staff on security awareness and best practices. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Security stack, including M365 Advanced Security and Microsoft Purview. - Experience with Defender XDR and vulnerability management tools. - Strong understanding of cyber security principles and practices. - Familiarity with EMC Networker and its role in data protection. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
