About the Role

We're partnering with a leading cyber organisation seeking Senior Software Engineers to support the delivery of advanced software capabilities across a number of mission-critical programmes.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex technical challenges, influence engineering direction and help deliver secure solutions that make a tangible impact within the cyber and national security space.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the development of complex software solutions in secure environments.
• Providing technical leadership across engineering teams and project delivery activities.
• Embedding security considerations throughout solution design and development.
• Driving engineering best practice, quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members.
• Contributing to architectural discussions and technical strategy initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive software engineering experience within complex technical environments.
• Strong expertise in Java, C#, C++ or comparable technologies.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and secure development practices.
• Experience leading teams, technical workstreams or major engineering deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of development tooling, testing methodologies and CI/CD.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
