Cyber Technical Analyst | Contract | NV1 Required | Sydney

We're recruiting on behalf of a Federal Government department for a Cyber Technical Analyst to join their growing Cyber Engagement team.

The role:

• Write and present security documentation to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Advise programs on security architecture best practice
• Review and guide on application, infrastructure and system designs against PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight
• Support Essential Eight implementation and technical uplift across stakeholders
• Provide advice on Azure cloud infrastructure and services

Essential criteria:

• 5+ years in a technical cyber advisory role within government
• Must hold a current NV1 clearance (in-progress not accepted)
• Demonstrated Azure cloud experience, particularly technical assessments

The Offer:

• Contract until beginning of Feb 2027, with 1 x 12 month extension
• Hybrid work arrangement
