An opportunity has arisen with an established organisation for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst. This is a technical role suited to candidates with an aptitude for complex problem solving and a genuine curiosity for understanding the functionality, origin and potential impact of cyber threats. Responsibilities
- Collate and analyse threat intelligence from a variety of sources
- Transform collected information into data formats that can be used for operational security activities
- Use specialised tools to ingest, analyse and generate threat intelligence
- Use tools that provide information about internet infrastructure to support investigations
- Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in written and presentation formats
- Build and sustain working relationships with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to a knowledge sharing culture within the technical team
Requirements
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and DNS
- Working knowledge of structured threat intelligence frameworks such as MISP and TAXII
- Experience with scripting languages
- Experience using tools to ingest, analyse and generate threat intelligence
- Familiarity with cyber threats relevant to the Singapore threat landscape
- Knowledge of legislative, policy and security frameworks
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge concisely to non-technical audiences, in both written and presentation formats
- Demonstrated experience working cohesively in a technical team and sharing knowledge with other technical staff
- Analytical thinking and aptitude for complex problem solving
