Cybersecurity Analyst L2 (Blue Team)
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst L2 (Blue Team) to join a team dedicated to security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response. We are seeking a highly autonomous professional with hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, capable of managing the SIEM use case lifecycle and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization's detection capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor compliance with SLAs defined for cybersecurity operations.
- Create, develop, and optimize detection use cases within SIEM platforms.
- Ensure the governance and lifecycle management of use cases, from requirements gathering and implementation to review and continuous improvement.
- Analyze security events and alerts, identifying potential threats and suspicious activities.
- Participate in Threat Hunting activities to proactively identify emerging threats.
- Support vulnerability analysis and tracking activities, contributing to risk mitigation efforts.
- Investigate security incidents and collaborate in the definition of corrective and preventive actions.
- Produce technical documentation and activity reports.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the effectiveness of security processes.
- More than 2 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity Operations / SOC Level 2 roles within a Blue Team environment.
- Solid experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel), including rule creation and management, event correlation, and use case development.
- Strong knowledge of log analysis, incident investigation, and security monitoring.
- Experience in Threat Hunting and threat analysis.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices will be considered a plus.
