Cybersecurity Engineer II — Secure Healthcare Devices

STERIS Italy S.r.l. in Pomezia, near Rome, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer II to strengthen our R&D security controls. You will analyze CVEs, track SBOMs, and work with product teams on secure designs and incident response.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cybersecurity, knowledge of Python/C/C++, and experience with Windows/Linux systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required; Italian work authorization preferred.

Analyze CVEs and assess applicability to STERIS products. Develop and track SBOMs and remediation plans. Lead security testing including planning and case development. Participate in FDA 510(k) security documentation. Collaborate with product teams on secure design and incident response. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Minimum 3 years in cybersecurity including risk assessments and testing. Experience with vulnerability assessment and SDLC.
