Cybersecurity Engineer
Summary
Cybersecurity Engineer investigates and responds to security incidents, hunts threats, and implements detection logic using EDR platforms like Crowdstrike and cloud security tools in AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
· Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science/IT, Engineering or equivalent.
· Must have 5 – 7years in IT Security and 3- 5 years of Cybersecurity experience, responding to IT Security incidents/ Threat hunting/ Threat Intelligence
· Mandatory experience in full life cycle of Incident Handling with minimum 2-3 major incident handling, reporting and resolution
· Must have experience in EDR platforms – Crowdstrike (Querying/Investigation/Live Response)
· Must have hands-on experience in cloud security investigations (AWS/Azure/GCP)
· Experience in Scripting – Python/Powershell/Bash and writing detection logic – KQL/SPL/SIGMA
· Good understanding in attacker techniques (Lateral movement, persistence, C2, Credential abuse)
· Good to have experience in Threat intelligence platforms –TIPs/SOAR
· Good to have certifications GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GCTI, CISSP, or equivalent
· Must have experience in internal / external stakeholder management
· Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
· Ability to Work Independently
