Cybersecurity Engineer / Penetration Tester for Medical Device

Your Tasks

• Conduct penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on medical devices, including firmware, embedded systems, wireless protocols (e.g., BLE), and connected hospital infrastructure
• Enhance the knowledge of adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and apply such knowledge when evaluating and testing corporate resources
• Support project initiatives to assess vulnerabilities in IT assets through penetration testing, social engineering policies and procedures, etc.
• Apply existing IT technical expertise to address cybersecurity-related issues and challenges
• Stay up to date with the latest security tools, countermeasures, threats, and technologies
• Analyze vulnerabilities, identify weaknesses, perform exploitation, and escalate privileges
• Stay current with FDA cybersecurity guidance, IEC 81001-5-1, ISA/IEC 62443, IEC 62304, and healthcare-specific cybersecurity threats
• Monitor European medical device cybersecurity guidance, including MDCG 2019-16, and relevant medical cybersecurity regulations

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year professional experience in medical device cybersecurity or penetration testing
• Strong analytical skills and ability to assess complex technical and scientific data (Experience in reviewing or preparing technical documentation is preferred)
• Well organized, self-motivated, being able to work with minimal supervision and good communication skills
• Fluency in Korean and English / Good communication and writing skills in English
• Professional certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, OSED, OSCE3, CPTS, PNPT, CRTO, or BHPT are preferred
