Cybersecurity Project Manager (m/f/n)
For one of our Partners, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager (m/f/n) to support a long‑term project delivered for a European Union organization based in Warsaw.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this job would require you to initiate the process of getting a Security Clearance certificate at RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED level
Typical tasks and responsibilities:
Manages effectively and efficiently the project within its complete lifecycle and scope
Establishes and manages project controls in order to ensure that the milestones are met and project products delivered on time and within scope and the business goals are enabled
Assures and controls quality of the project deliverables
Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the project
Liaise with Project Board and other key stakeholders
Assigns and controls the tasks, authorizes work packages, balance priorities and workload in the team, motivates project team members
Plans and controls project products delivery processes
Manages effective communication within the project and with external environment of the project
Produces project management products (like plans, logs, schedules). Defines the responsibilities of parties involved in the project
Prepares and presents oral and written technical reports and project presentations
Organizes and conducts project meetings
Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and controls, and risk management expertise (e.g. knowledge of Defence-in-depth and ‘Zero-trust’ Security Architectures; knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management etc.)
Possesses a thorough understanding of IT and its application to business needs
In-depth understanding of legal and ethical aspects of cybersecurity.
Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and compliance.
Understanding of the principles of best practice security as embodied in ISO27001 or NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
Skills:
Advanced project management skills, including risk and quality management.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Vendor and procurement management skills.
Presents excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce high quality written material and presentations for a variety of audiences
Specific requirements:
In-depth familiarity with security policies based on industry standards and best practices
Broad architectural background with full-lifecycle experience of delivering IT Security solutions.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in working with project supporting methodologies and tools: PM2, PMP, PRINCE, ServiceNow
Knowledge and experience in managing cybersecurity projects for EU classified environments
Experience in supporting management of resources, budgets, and priorities for programme/project/portfolios related to cybersecurity investments

Higher education
At least 10 years of IT relevant experience including 8 years at similar position
Certificates:
At least 4 certifications are required as follow:
At least 2 certifications among Cybersecurity domain:
CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or an equivalent certification
CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or an equivalent certification
CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) or an equivalent certification
ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Associate or an equivalent certification
AND
At least 2 certifications among Project and IT Service Management domain:
PM2 Advanced or an equivalent certification
Prince 2 Practitioner or an equivalent certification
PMP or an equivalent certification
ITIL Foundation or an equivalent certification
Each equivalent certification must be recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
Offer:
Rate: 600-684 EUR/MD net + VAT

Delivery mode: hybrid work: 50% On-site service provision (office in Warsaw) / 50% remote
Long‑term engagement: 220 MD / 12 months, with up to 3 possible extensions (maximum total duration: 48 months)
