Cybersecurity Project Manager
Role Overview
In this role, you will lead the delivery of cybersecurity platform initiatives within Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineering. This role pairs project management expertise with technical knowledge of SOC tooling and infrastructure protection to deliver scalable security solutions on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Delivery: Drive end-to-end implementation of security platforms protecting networks, servers, cloud workloads, and end-user devices.
- Project Governance: Define project scope, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation while actively managing risks, dependencies, and change requests.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with engineering, architecture, operations, and procurement teams to align workflows and deliverables.
- Executive Visibility: Maintain project dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries to ensure full transparency for leadership.
Competencies and Qualifications
- Technical Background: Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Project Management: Track record in technical project management delivering security initiatives, ideally in financial services or asset management.
- SOC & Endpoint Capabilities: Hands-on experience operationalising SOC tooling (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, NDR, TIP) and vulnerability management frameworks (attack surface assessment, threat exposure management, attack simulation).
- Systems & Automation: Strong knowledge of network security, CIS Benchmarks, OS internals (Windows, Linux, macOS), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate processes.
- Cloud & Threat Management: Familiarity with cloud security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP), threat intelligence, and security observability.
- Certifications: PMP, Cloud Architect/Security, or cybersecurity certifications are advantageous.
