Cybersecurity & Resilience Governance Specialist (IT Audit | Public Sector)

Join as a Cybersecurity & Resilience Governance Specialist, supporting audit validation, compliance assessments and remediation monitoring across external parties.

What You Will Do

• Review external-party audit submission reports for completeness and milestone completion.

• Assess the adequacy and relevance of supporting evidence, compliance assessments and conclusions.

• Liaise with external parties to clarify findings and conduct onsite checks where required.

• Prepare validation worksheets, assessment materials and recommendation presentations.

• Monitor remediation actions for audit findings and non-compliances.

• Identify improvements to audit guidance, frameworks and validation methodologies.

• Support related cybersecurity and resilience governance matters.

What We Are Looking For

• Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accountancy, Engineering or a related discipline. Other qualifications may be considered with relevant experience.

• Prior experience in audit, compliance, risk, governance or assurance work.

• Telecommunications or technology-sector experience is preferred.

• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prepare concise reports and presentation materials supported by clear evidence and analysis.

• Comfortable liaising with external parties and conducting onsite checks when required.

• Able to work independently, manage multiple deadlines and collaborate effectively.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
