Cybersecurity Solutions Architect – Microsoft Purview

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect with strong experience in Microsoft Security technologies and data protection solutions, particularly Microsoft Purview.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across solution design, customer engagements, pre-sales activities and cybersecurity solution implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical pre-sales activities, including presentations, demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements for Microsoft Security solutions.

Work with sales teams and customers to understand cybersecurity and data protection requirements and design appropriate solutions.

Act as a trusted technical advisor, providing guidance on cybersecurity best practices, Microsoft Security technologies and data protection.

Collaborate with internal sales, client solutions and delivery teams to support solution development and customer outcomes.

Engage with customers and key stakeholders to provide technical recommendations and solution guidance.

Keep up to date with cybersecurity trends, data protection requirements, emerging threats and Microsoft Security technologies.

Lead or support implementation of Microsoft Purview capabilities across enterprise, cloud and hybrid environments.

Configure and manage capabilities such as Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, data classification, sensitivity labeling, retention and data lifecycle policies.

Support data discovery, scanning and cataloguing activities across relevant cloud and hybrid data sources.

Where applicable, implement or manage advanced Purview capabilities such as Data Security Posture Management, Information Barriers and Insider Risk Management.

Ensure data protection solutions are aligned with organizational security, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Conduct technical workshops, demonstrations, training and knowledge-transfer sessions for internal teams and customers.

Provide technical input to solution proposals, customer requirements and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, data security or a related field.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Security technologies, with particular expertise in Microsoft Purview.

Experience in cybersecurity solution architecture, consulting or technical pre-sales.

Demonstrated experience conducting technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops or proof-of-concept engagements.

Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection, DLP, data classification, sensitivity labeling and retention policies.

Experience working with enterprise cloud and/or hybrid environments.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with sales, technical and delivery teams.

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Purview Data Security Posture Management, Information Barriers and Insider Risk Management.

Experience with Purview scanning, data discovery and cataloguing.

Relevant Microsoft Security certifications.

Experience working with large enterprise or regulated environments.

Security Capability Current State Assessment: Advanced
