About the role

We are a growing IT services startup seeking a Cybersecurity Support Analyst to support our clients’ IT systems and security needs. You will assist with endpoint protection, security monitoring, troubleshooting and incident response, alongside remote and occasional onsite IT support.

This role suits someone who enjoys solving technical problems, communicating with clients and developing practical cybersecurity experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor endpoint protection alerts and security logs, investigate suspicious activity and escalate potential threats.

  • Deploy, configure and maintain endpoint security software on client devices.

  • Provide remote and onsite support for security tools, user devices and connectivity issues.

  • Assist with software updates, security patching and basic vulnerability checks.

  • Support account security through multi-factor authentication, access permissions and secure configurations.

  • Record incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions in support tickets.

  • Guide clients on phishing awareness, password security and safe computing practices.

  • Coordinate with clients and vendors to resolve technical issues.

  • Maintain clear technical documentation and provide updates on outstanding support requests.

What we’re looking for

  • A diploma or degree in cybersecurity, information technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Up to two years of experience in IT support, endpoint security or cybersecurity operations. Fresh graduates with relevant projects or internship experience are welcome.

  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including malware, phishing, access controls and incident response.

  • Familiarity with Windows administration and basic networking, including TCP/IP, DNS and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.

  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.

  • Ability to manage support requests independently and handle client information responsibly.

Good to have

  • Experience with Kaspersky or similar endpoint protection and EDR platforms.

  • Exposure to Microsoft 365, Linux, firewalls or security monitoring tools.

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity.

  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
