About the Role:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory accuracy through regular counting and auditing of stock in the warehouse and/or manufacturing areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Count material, equipment, supplies in stock and post inventory totals in Epicor
- Compare inventory count to inventory record in Epicor
- Verifies Epicor totals match physical count of parts/stock
- Investigates reason for discrepancy
- Prepare reports such as inventory balances or shortages
- Prepares a list of depleted or "low stock" items
- Must be able to communicate through written (email) or verbally to pass information along to supervisors/managers
- Basic math skills are necessary (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Previous cycle counting experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Inventory software and Manufacturing software is a plus (Epicor preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
