Hiring: Cyclotron Technician
Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Job Purpose

The Cyclotron Technician is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance and optimisation of medical cyclotrons and associated equipment within AMCE's diagnostic facility. The role holder will ensure safe isotope production, compliance with radiation safety protocols, and adherence to international quality standards. Working alongside medical physicists, radiochemists, radiopharmacists and engineers, the technician will play a key role in delivering reliable radiopharmaceuticals to support patient care.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics) is essential.
Postgraduate qualifications in Physics, Radiography and related technical fields will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a cyclotron technician or related field.
Additional certification or training in radiation safety or cyclotron operations preferred.
Working knowledge of electronics, digital/analog circuitry, and mechanical systems.
Technical aptitude to troubleshoot high-voltage, vacuum, and cooling systems and radiofrequency.
