CYS Training Specialist NF-04

This position is located at Fort Riley, KS. Child and Youth Services (CYS) Employee Childcare Fee applicable to employees working at least 15 hours per week: First Child: 100% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Second and Subsequent Child: 25% childcare fee discount (all CYS employees) Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Ensure CDC, SAC, and Youth Services programs maintain high standards. Oversee classroom environments, equipment, scheduling, curriculum, inclusion, and safety protocols to minimize abuse risks.

Design and run classroom and hands-on training. Evaluate staff and provider progress quarterly. Develop parent education resources and advocate for proper development practices to parents and leadership.

Help secure and maintain DoD certification and national accreditation. Lead the training and program portions of inspections, analyze performance scores, and draft corrective plans with management.

Ensures accurate prompt customer service

Manages program to budget. Conducts written analyses of budget variances, and prepares justification for funding of program resource requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
