D2D UCIe Solution Engineer

You will develop, customize, integrate, and maintain D2D IP firmware. You will turn test-program insights into firmware workflows, bring up and validate links before and after silicon, debug link-level issues, and build reusable firmware infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain D2D IP firmware
• Customize, integrate, and optimize firmware for SoC environments
• Analyze Python-based test programs and incorporate functional insights into firmware implementation and validation workflows
• Perform D2D link bring-up and validation in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments
• Interpret D2D specifications and IP documentation to implement firmware behavior and link-training sequences
• Debug and resolve PHY initialization, link-training, parameter-exchange, and error-handling issues
• Build reusable firmware infrastructure for multiple configurations and future SoC generations

Requirements

• 2+ years of software or firmware engineering experience with a Master’s degree, or 5+ years of experienced engineering work in embedded systems, device drivers, or system software
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming and firmware-level debugging
• Ability to understand D2D/UCIe, SerDes/PHY, and high-speed I/O specifications
• Communication skills for cross-functional work across architecture, design, and validation
