Role: Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Technical Consultant
Experience: 6+ years overall, with strong relevant experience in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations / AX technical development

Role Summary
We are looking for a D365 F*O Senior Technical Consultant with strong technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Human Resources capabilities. The candidate will be responsible for technical design, development, integrations, customizations, data migration, security, performance, and technical delivery of HRM capabilities.
The Role requires Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end D365 F&O / HRM implementations, covering technical design, development, integrations, data migration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for D365 HRM / Human Resources capabilities.
- Develop and customize D365 F&O using X++, extensions, Chain of Command (CoC), event handlers, forms, tables, classes, workflows, batch processes, and data entities.
- Work closely with Functional Consultants, Architects, Product Managers, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical designs.
- Design and implement integrations between D365 and external/internal systems using appropriate D365 and Azure integration technologies.
- Develop and support Data Management Framework (DMF) entities and data migration solutions.
- Handle legacy data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
- Design and implement role-based security, duties, privileges, and data-access controls.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to D365 development standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, batch, data, and performance issues.
- Support performance optimization for high-volume processing, batch jobs, queries, and integrations.
- Participate in technical design reviews and provide technical estimates for user stories and capabilities.
- Support build, deployment, environment management, release readiness, and production-support activities.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, deployment documentation, troubleshooting guides, and technical handover documentation.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
- Work within an Agile/Sprint-based delivery model, supporting parallel development across multiple HRM capabilities.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development.
- Strong expertise in X++ and the D365 extension framework.
- Experience with Visual Studio and D365 development environments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for source control, branching, builds, work-item management, and deployment processes.
- Good understanding of Azure integration technologies applicable to enterprise D365 implementations.
- Experience with data migration and high-volume data processing.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Understanding of D365 application lifecycle, environment management, deployment, and release processes.
