  • Own and optimise a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations environment
  • Lead Power Platform, automation and AI initiatives
  • Broad role combining hands-on configuration, solution delivery and stakeholder engagement
About your new employer

Your new employer is an established organisation operating within the infrastructure sector.

With a strong focus on operational excellence, technology and continuous improvement, the business is investing in its enterprise applications and digital capabilities to improve how its teams operate, collaborate and deliver projects.

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Dynamics 365 Specialist to take ownership of a key business platform and drive ongoing improvements across systems, processes and technology.

About your new role
  • Take ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations environment, ensuring the platform supports evolving business and operational requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify improvement opportunities and translate requirements into practical technology solutions.
  • Lead the ongoing configuration, enhancement and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Project Operations.
  • Manage the D365 product roadmap, prioritise system improvements, coordinate releases and drive user adoption.
  • Design and deliver solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Champion the adoption of Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities to improve productivity, automate processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Perform business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, functional solution design and testing.
  • Collaborate with the central technology team and external vendors to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, cyber security and data governance standards.
  • Support end-user computing solutions, including system improvements, issue resolution and ongoing optimisation.
  • Develop training materials, documentation and work instructions to support system adoption and continuous improvement.
About you

You will be an experienced Dynamics 365 Functional / Technical Consultant, Business Applications Specialist or D365 Owner who enjoys combining hands-on system configuration with business engagement and continuous improvement.

You will have a strong understanding of how enterprise applications support business operations and be comfortable taking ownership of a platform, managing competing priorities and delivering improvements from initial requirements through to implementation and adoption.

Ideally, you will bring experience across the following areas:
  • Strong functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, ideally Project Operations or the legacy Project Service Automation (PSA) module.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and optimising D365, including workflows, business rules, processes and system enhancements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping and functional solution design.
  • Understanding of integrations, data governance and application security.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, AI capabilities and business process automation.
  • Experience managing application roadmaps, enhancement backlogs, testing, releases and stakeholder priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working with project-based organisations, engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure businesses would be highly regarded.
You will be someone who can work independently, take accountability for outcomes and identify opportunities to make business systems more effective.

What's in it for you?

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a critical enterprise platform within an established infrastructure organisation.

Rather than focusing solely on implementation or support, you will have the opportunity to shape the future direction of Dynamics 365, introduce new Power Platform capabilities and influence how technology supports operational performance.

The role offers a broad mix of functional consulting, solution development, business engagement and technology innovation, with the opportunity to make a measurable impact across the organisation.
