The Company…
The Company is a well-respected and family owned company
supplying a wide range of welding machinery and industrial supplies to
customers located throughout Queensland.
They are conducting a feasibility study into opening a
warehouse operation in Dalby and are seeking expressions of interest for an
experienced and motivated branch manager responsible for Internal Sales &
Distribution. This position is an internal based role with responsibilities
crossing over into warehousing/ distribution.
Activities Involved:
- Assist
with internal sales including walk-in, phone & email
- Identify
customer needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Maintaining
existing client relationships
- Selling
products to new existing and clients
- Achieve
team sales targets and individual KPI's
- Receive
goods; ensuring the accuracy of delivered goods against delivery documents
- Retrieve
items and prepare customer orders for dispatch
Skills Required:
- Proven
track record with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Background
in servicing the welding, engineering or fabrication markets
- Exceptional
communication skills including face-to-face interaction
- Self-motivated
and able to work autonomously
- Can-do
attitude and hard-working
- Ability
to build relationships with customers
- Solution
based approach
- Ability
to acquire welding industry product knowledge
- Able
to use a computer efficiently & effectively
- Both
Driver’s and Forklift Licence
