Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Meat Market Team Member to assist with daily operations in a fast-paced, butcher-style environment. This position involves wrapping and packaging meat, preparing products, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with various meat market tasks. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, follows instructions, works well with others, and takes pride in doing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, label, and prepare meat products for display or storage.
• Assist with general meat market and butcher-area tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Work cooperatively with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to learn new tasks and follow directions.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well with others.
• Previous experience in a meat market, butcher shop, food service, or food handling is a plus, but not required.

Work Environment

This position involves standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, handling meat products, and working in a refrigerated or cold environment. Training will be provided for job-specific duties and procedures.
