Data & AI Engineer with MS Fabric or Databricks - Junior/Mid/Senior

The Work
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines (ETL / ELT) using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and maintain data models (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for analytics and AI use cases.
- Work with Python, SQL, and Spark to build robust, efficient and reusable code.
- Integrate diverse data sources into unified, high‑quality datasets.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and data scientists to ensure seamless delivery of insights.
- Apply best practices in DevSecOps, version control and CI/CD for data solutions.
Here’s What You’ll Need
Experience Requirements (Cumulative)
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with relational or analytical databases, using SQL for development, testing, debugging and performance optimisation in production.
- At least 1 year designing or implementing ETL/ELT processes and data integration solutions with modern enterprise Data & AI toolsets (e.g. Databricks or Microsoft Fabric) for large or complex data sets.
- Exposure to data modelling and architecture: practical experience creating conceptual, logical and physical data models using dimensional, relational or Data Vault techniques in analytical environments.
Technical Skills
Databases & SQL
- Expert‑level SQL skills (procedures, triggers, functions, packages) in at least one major RDBMS/EDW technology such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata or DB2.
- Strong ability to profile, tune and optimise SQL code and database performance for ETL and reporting workloads.
Data Modeling & ETL
- Solid understanding of dimensional modelling; ability to translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical models.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT toolsets.
Cloud & Big Data (Experience or Interest)
- Experience with, or strong interest in, processing and integrating data on major cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS). Familiarity with cloud storage, managed databases and serverless / data pipeline services is desirable.
- Bonus: familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hive, Spark, NiFi, HBase, HDFS, Kafka, Kudu.
GenAI Skills
- Experience building and using GenAI solutions to solve business problems and improve work efficiency.
- Open to work with GenAI based tools including agentic AI solutions to reinvent the architecture landscape of modern companies.
Programming & Analytics
- Practical scripting or programming skills (SQL‑centric plus one of Python, R or SAS) to support data transformation, automation and basic analytics.
- Experience or strong interest to upskill in Spark.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable data solutions.
Soft Skills & Language
- Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
- Professional working proficiency in English and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to client locations across Europe as required.

Working Conditions
- Employment contract (umowa o pracę).
- Headquarters in Warsaw.
- Traveling to work with prestigious clients and delivering large‑scale transformational change. Work in a hybrid model – remotely, in our offices and at client locations. Some in‑person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. Travel declaration, willingness and ability to work at client locations mainly across Europe and beyond, for short or long term, is required.
- The work location may include a mix of remote, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office – depending on specific project circumstances. Flexibility to support work/life needs is offered.
