SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst will be involved in the programming, data mining and analysis of clinical, operational and financial data with an emphasis on supporting the organizational quality initiatives. The Data Analyst will support the Quality and IT teams and other organizational departments in the collection, monitoring and utilization of data to assist the organization in achieving its goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, analyze, and explain data to key stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Run reports and gather valuable insights from various tools (Athena, Centricity, Health Catalyst, VistaSolutions preferred).
  • Identify trends across data and make recommendations to senior management
  • Works with the stakeholders for input and designs a data solution that fits within the processes of the organization
  • Develop data reporting and visualization capabilities
  • Be a data evangelist: collaborate with both technical and non-technical teammates to supplement decisions with quantitative evidence
  • Always be auditing: build and maintain processes to track data and troubleshoot errors
  • Build and automate tools to surface key data to stakeholders across a broad range of data literacy levels
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and forecasting as needed across a diverse set of teams
  • Understand the business operating procedures and the influence it has on data and performance
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and supervises staff listed below, including hiring, training, evaluating and managing performance to meet departmental efficiency and performance measures in keeping with the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (CAB), Personnel Policies and Procedures and prevailing employment laws as appropriate
