Data Analyst (BGC)
Salary: ₱45,000 – ₱60,000 per month
About the role
Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Taguig City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across the organisation. This position is integral to our data management strategy, enabling teams to leverage data effectively for strategic planning and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
Collect, clean and process large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity
Analyse and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies relevant to business objectives
Design and maintain databases, ensuring optimal performance and security standards are met
Create and develop reports, dashboards and visualisations to communicate data findings to stakeholders at all levels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support for business initiatives
Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of data governance
Optimise database queries and scripts to improve system performance and efficiency
Document analytical methodologies, processes and findings for knowledge sharing and future reference
Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions and recommendations
What we're looking for
Proven experience working with databases and data management systems, preferably in a professional or technical environment
Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, R or similar programming/scripting languages for data analysis
Demonstrated ability to work with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms
Solid understanding of database architecture, design principles and relational database concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data manipulation tools
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes is advantageous
Experience in cloud-based databases or data warehousing solutions would be beneficial
