Data Analyst - Credit, Business Intelligence Engineering

The Data Analyst will support the retail finance business by building dashboards, automating processes, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights. The role requires proficiency in SQL and Python to collaborate with stakeholders and the data engineering team.

Job Description
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs/pain points, scope up their problems, enhance internal processes through automation, and improve productivity.
  • Be a subject matter expert in retail finance business and data. Consolidate data from multiple sources, including operations, marketing, and source databases, to create integrated views that can drive decision‑making.
  • Work closely with the data engineering team to enhance and optimize the data warehouse infrastructure.
  • Develop variable tools for stakeholders to boost operational working efficiency.
  • Build and implement data visualization of reports and dashboards for management and business users.
  • Critically evaluate and define business metrics; develop analysis that leads to actionable insights to support the continuous improvement of the Retail Finance business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and above in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Finance/Banking, Statistics and other related fields.
  • Skilled in SQL and Python is mandatory.
  • Have critical thinking and structured problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Being able to work well with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic accounting/finance knowledge is preferred.
  • Experience in the finance/banking industry is a plus.
  • Experience in business intelligence and analytics in e‑commerce is a plus.
