Data Analyst

Introduction & Summary

Prowareness is seeking a talented Medior Data Analyst for a project with a Rotterdam energy startup aimed at developing a greenfield MVP. This role requires a thorough understanding of Python and significant experience in data management, particularly in the energy sector. The successful candidate will contribute to the design of an area calculation tool, which will assess energy use and model the business case for local energy communities.

What we offer:

• Rate: 30-33 euro/h + VAT

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using Python.

• Perform data cleansing and modeling on time series data.

• Collaborate with the project team to support dashboard and frontend development.

• Provide insights based on data analyses to support project objectives.

• Ensure compliance with GDPR and data governance standards.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python programming, particularly with pandas.

• Proven experience in data cleansing and analysis.

• Familiarity with energy or utilities data is a strong plus.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Fluent in English; Dutch is not required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with dashboard tools or UI development.

• Background in energy sector projects.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Other Details

Start date is 12 October 2026 at the latest, with a possible extension into 2027. The position is full-time and remote from Poland, with travel to Rotterdam possible for kick-off meetings. The client will own all code from the project's inception, and timesheets will be logged against deliverables for audit purposes.
