Summary
Analyzes financial and operational data from ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon) and accounting systems (Xero, Unleashed) to generate reports, identify trends, and optimize procurement/sales processes. Focuses on reconciliation, cost-saving insights, and cross-functional collaboration.
Position: Data Analyst (Financial/Bookkeeping/Reconciliation)
Number of hours: 20/40 hours/week
Schedule: BST
Tasks required:
- Extract, clean, and analyze data from Xerox accounting, Unleashed manufacturing procurement, Shopify, Amazon, and ShipBob.
Perform financial analysis and - create reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key financial metrics.
- Provide insights to optimize procurement, sales, and fulfillment processes.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial data reporting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all platforms.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Data Analyst, Bookkeeping, Financial Accounting, or a relevant role is required
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
- Familiarity with data extraction, reconciliation, and manipulation fromplatforms like Shopify, Amazon, ShipBob, and accounting systems.
- Ability to work with large datasets and draw actionable insights.
