Data Analyst Iii, Packaging Compliance

Commscope in Ascoli Piceno, Marche, Italy seeks a Data Analyst III, Packaging Compliance to build a reliable data and reporting capability for packaging regulatory readiness.

You will transform data from SAP/BI, Excel, suppliers and manufacturers into compliant, traceable outputs, develop dashboards to monitor deadlines and risks, and coordinate with Packaging Engineering, Operations, Procurement and IT to ensure governance and data quality.

Extract and reconcile packaging data from SAP/BI, Excel, contract manufacturers, suppliers, and other systems. Create repeatable datasets and reporting workflows combining product, material, supplier, market, and packaging-component data. Prepare Declarations of Conformity and regulatory reports (e.g., EPR) with related analyses. Track new packaging regulations and translate obligations into data requirements for models and templates. Perform quality checks and coordinate corrections with Packaging Engineering, Operations, Procurement, IT, and external partners. Maintain version control, audit trails, and supporting evidence to ensure outputs are reproducible and defensible. Develop dashboards to monitor completeness, deadlines, risks, and trends in packaging weights and reduction opportunities. Standardize templates and automate recurring work where possible without sacrificing control. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Statistics or related field. 4+ years of data analysis, BI, reporting or master-data experience in manufacturing, supply chain, product or compliance. Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, lookups, cleansing, structured models). Experience with Power BI or similar BI tool; ability to work with SAP-derived data and large, imperfect datasets. Working knowledge of SQL and data transformation; experience with automation tools for consolidating data and quality checks. Strong analytical judgment.
