About the Role:
Are you passionate about finance, data, and technology? We'd love to meet you! We are looking for a motivated and proactive Financial Reporting Intern eager to learn and take their first steps in the corporate world.
We don't expect you to know everything on day one—we care about your attitude, enthusiasm to learn, and foundational knowledge in data analysis. In this role, you'll work closely with an experienced team that will support you as you build dashboards, automate processes, and analyze financial data.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist in creating clear, user-friendly financial dashboards and reports.
- Join team meetings to understand reporting needs.
- Write basic SQL queries (in BigQuery) to prepare datasets for analysis.
- Design and maintain interactive reports in Power BI and Google Sheets.
- Use Python or Google Apps Script to automate routine workflows and simplify tasks.
- Help review data accuracy and document team processes.
What we're looking for:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- One year away from completing the degree
- Basic understanding of corporate financial statements.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Foundational knowledge or familiarity with:
- Google Sheets / Apps Script.
- Basic SQL queries.
- Python for simple data manipulation.
- Power BI.
- A detail-oriented mindset, strong desire to learn, and a collaborative team spirit.
